February is Missions Emphasis Month

It’s that time of year again! While we’re in the dead of winter longing for spring, what better time is there for us to have our hearts lifted by a renewed focus on missions and the needs of people around the world? Each Sunday in February a different guest speaker will be with us to challenge our hearts concerning this year’s theme – REACH1.

As we’ve been learning from our study in I Peter, God, who has transformed us into instruments of grace, has called us to sound forth the music of grace. While this can sometimes be difficult around those who are often hostile toward the gospel, there is no greater blessing than to be used by God to point such people to Jesus. May it be our prayer this year that we would be willing servants of Christ, faithfully sounding forth the music of grace!

I trust that you will make it your priority to join us for Adult Bible Fellowship and the Morning Worship Service on each of these Sundays as the following pastors and missionaries share about their ministries and challenge our hearts with messages from God’s Word.

Sunday, February 3 – Alec & Tammy Millen (Lancaster City)

Sunday, February 10 – Bobby & Joanna Burdett (Madagascar)

Sunday, February 17 – Jonathan & Clarinda Halk (Zambia)

Sunday, February 24 – Jimmy Pierre (Haiti)

In addition to our guest speakers, many other activities are being planned. Break free from the doldrums of winter and don’t miss a Sunday during the month of February. You won’t regret it!

Sounding forth for the sake of the Gospel,

Pastor John
