About the Bible
We believe that the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments are plenarily and verbally inspired of God, are inerrant in their original writing, and are the final authority for faith and practice.
We believe there is one triune God, eternally existing in the three persons of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. They are co-equal in being, power, and glory, co-identical in essence, and have the same divine attributes and perfections yet are distinct in personality and function.
About Jesus Christ
We believe in the virgin birth of Christ, His Deity, His sinless life, His substitutionary death, His bodily resurrection and ascension, and His personal, imminent, pre-millennial and pre-tribulational return.
About the Holy Spirit
We believe that the Holy Spirit is the agent of the new birth and that He seals, indwells, and baptizes every believer into the Body of Christ at the moment of conversion. The Holy Spirit fills and empowers believers for service but sign gifts were restricted to the apostolic age.
We believe that man was created in the image of God and that he sinned, thereby incurring upon himself not only physical death, but also spiritual death which is separation from God. All men are sinners by birth and by choice. They are under just condemnation to eternal damnation in a literal hell without defense or excuse.
We believe that the salvation of sinners is wholly of grace and is neither merited nor secured by any virtue or work of man. All who repent and receive the Lord Jesus Christ by faith are born again of the Holy Spirit and thereby become children of God, eternally secure and kept forever by the power of God.
We believe that sanctification is immediate in that it occurs at salvation and progressive in that it is produced in the heart of believers from salvation until the redemption of our bodies. Believers are progressively sanctified by the presence and power of the Holy Spirit through the means of the Word of God, prayer, and the local church.
About the Church
We believe that the universal church is composed of all born again believers in the Lord Jesus Christ. The local church is the visible representation of the universal church and is made up of baptized believers who voluntarily assemble for worship, service, fellowship, and edification.
About Heaven and Hell
We believe in the bodily resurrection of all men, the saved to eternal life in heaven and the unsaved to eternal damnation in hell, both of which are literal places.
About Last Things
We believe in the personal, imminent coming of our Lord Jesus Christ in the air to catch away His saints. We believe in the subsequent visible return of Jesus Christ to earth at the close of the tribulation to judge the nations and establish His millennial kingdom on earth.
